We collect information from you when you choose to fill out our form, so that we can provide you with a consultation. When filling out information on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and details about your disabilities. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
By contacting HandyTax by phone, website, email or chat, you give us express consent to:
- To send you our Welcome Package via mail and/or email
- To provide you with a free consultation
- To follow-up on interest in our services, including phone, email (mailing list), follow-up, voice broadcast or text message.
- contact you via automatic dialing announcement devide (ADAD) regardless if you are on the do not call database for a period of 2 years.
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested. With your consent, we may recommend you to other professionals that will help you more appropriately considering your situation.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter and submit your personal information. Our databases are password protected and only shown to needed personnel.

Complimentary financial Services and referrals
HandyTax reserves the right to contact current and former clients and leads for the sole purpose of providing appointments for advice on complimentary financial services. Starting January 31, 2013, HandyTax will begin referring qualified leads and clients to Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network. Referred complimentary financial services may include, the opening of Registered Disability Savings Plans (RDSPs); the opening of Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs); general investment management; the sale of various types insurance (including but not limited to: disability insurance, long term disability and term life insurance) and residential mortgages.
Also individuals who may benefit from debt counselling may be referred to 4 pillars to discuss their financial hardship situation.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third-party products or services on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our company and website and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Terms And Conditions
HandyTax Inc is a federally incorporated entity. Our service is a retroactive reassessment of prior years income tax returns. In exchange we charge a contingency fee based on refunds generated. All invoices are in Canadian dollars and sales taxes are charged in accordance with provincial regulations. All sales are final and HandyTax has a no refund policy. Invoices may be paid through Interac Online or by certified cheque.
